DuPon Kapton is a polyimide polymer and a product of DuPont DuPont™ Kapton® is a polyimide polymer and a product of DuPont™.This material, in film form, offers many design features such as excellent dielectricstrength in very thin cross sections (3,000 volts per mil). BEEHE offersetched foil heaters insulated in DuPont™ Kapton® with two different bondingsystems, FEP and acrylic bonds. The FEP has a temperature capability of upto 500°F and the acrylic is capable of temperatures of 250°F. DuPont™Kapton® heaters offer many design opportunities and can be combinedin assemblies along with sensors, wiring harnesses and connectors to provide ourcustomers with assemblies ready to install in their equipment. DuPont™ Kapton® heaters can be installed with pressure sensitive adhesive(PSA). They can also be FEP or acrylic bonded directly to heat sinks at thefactory. This proprietary process installation offers excellent bonding and goodheat transfer capability.1. Specifications:2.
